Student Induction

A student induction program is an essential part in MBA Journey at SIMS, it helps new students to transform smoothly into our campus life. It is an orientation program that provides students with an overview of our college, culture, values, and expectations.

Objectives

• To introduce the staff to students.
• To familiarize students with the college's academic and administrative systems.
• To facilitate interaction among new students and promote networking.
• To create a sense of belongingness and community among students.

Internship Policy

The Placement Cell, at Seshadripuram Institute of Management Studies is dedicated in assisting all the companies affiliated with us and utilizing the cell’s service to conduct their internship drives in a timely, hassle-free, prudent, and mutually beneficial manner. We assist students in finding the best internships available. Students get exposure to corporate culture. They learn the working of corporate systems. They also get work experience, research experience, access to a variety of departments and tasks, create a professional networks, secure good references, and recommendations, critical thinking, career- & self-development.

All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has implemented a large-scale program to assess and improve the skills of engineering and management students in India among AICTE Approved Technical Institutions across the country. It is an outline arrangement, (including those testing academic skills and those testing higher order thinking skills) that can be used for comparing student outcomes. More specifically, each of the Online assessments will be considered as unidimensional, reliable, and good at measuring a range of student ability. The vast majority of the items should also demonstrate psychometric characteristics of students. At SIMS, class teachers create awareness among students during Induction Program and Mentors follow-up the progress.

Objectives

• Student Learning Assessment Project is to evaluate students and to assess their overall qualitative and quantitative growth during the course of study in order to get suitable employment.
• All India Council for Technical Education AICTE-SLA (PARAKH) project has been designed to measure the benchmark levels and gains in academic and higher-order thinking skills of students and faculties to understand the various factors that affect skill development in Technical Institutes across India.
