The strength of a B-School is valued in terms of the quality of research and consulting carried out by its faculty and students. Research Foundation in an educational institution can play the role of an information provider, catalyst, facilitator and an agent catering to the needs of research aspirants. Research foundations need to add value to an institution as well as the society at large by rendering dependable data, which is, are generated by professional and socially conscious researchers.

Seshadripuram Research Foundation has been established to carry out high quality research work in various domains including the areas of Commerce and Management as well as interdisciplinary studies. Research undertaken by the Post Graduate Departments of MBA and M.Com are aimed at addressing contemporary social issues. Thus, the research foundation seeks to integrate academic rigor with ethically sound and socially relevant research for community action. The Seshadripuram Research Foundation also provides a platform for Post – Graduation students/ research scholars and members of the faculty to interact with world – class domain experts in India and abroad. Sharing quality outcomes of research within the Seshadripuram Research Foundation with the larger community of Faculty members and research scholars will help open the door to scientific collaboration with the world – class institutions.

Seshadripuram Research Foundation is the research wing of Seshadripuram Educational Trust. Along with coordinating the activities as a Ph.D. research centre, it motivates faculty to undertake research and consulting by being a facilitator. It also has a student research forum through which research culture is imbibed among students.

Objectives:

• To motivate students to involve in research activities.
• To guide students for project dissertation.
• To make students understand the usage of library e-resources.
• To co-ordinate workshops, conferences and guest lecturers.
• To conduct inter-class competitions and events such as posture presentation, case-study presentation, research-quiz and so on.
• To encourage Faculty and Students to publish articles and release Handbooks.
• To encourage Faculty and Students to participate in Workshops, Conferences and present papers.
• To display the list of faculty and student publications.
• To publish Online Journal on a Quarterly basis.
• To provide research consultancy services.
• To report and record the research activities on real time basis.

Research Initiatives

The Seshadripuram Research Foundation publishes a national peer – reviewed journal titles "Seshadripuram Journal of Social Sciences (SJSS)" with ISSN 2581-6748 to disseminate information and research findings for the benefit of the society.

Upcoming plans for the School include the establishment of a 'Centre for Excellence in Sustainable Research' through which a wide range of funded research projects will be undertaken.
